About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Manager to join a well-established regional main contractor delivering a variety of construction projects throughout East Anglia. With a strong pipeline of secured work across Suffolk and Norfolk, this is a permanent role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to lead interesting and varied local projects.

Typical Projects Include:
You will be managing new build and refurbishment schemes across a broad range of sectors, including:

  • Schools, academies, and educational campuses

  • Healthcare and community facilities

  • Council and public sector frameworks

  • Commercial premises and industrial units

  • Residential schemes and small-scale housing developments

  • Heritage buildings and specialist restoration projects

All works are regionally based, avoiding the need for long-distance travel or regular overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for day-to-day management and delivery of construction sites

  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure programme, quality, and safety targets are achieved

  • Coordinate resources and logistics efficiently and effectively

  • Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and compliance documentation

  • Liaise with clients, design teams, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and progress

  • Ensure adherence to HSEQ standards and company policies at all times

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Site Manager role within general construction

  • Strong track record of delivering high-quality building projects from start to completion

  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health & safety legislation, and contract delivery

  • Confident managing teams, resolving site issues, and driving programmes forward

  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications essential

  • Full UK driving licence
