Estimator – Cambridge & Ipswich Opportunities

At Marshall Recruitment, we are currently seeking experienced and motivated Estimators to join our growing network across Cambridge and Ipswich.

If you have strong commercial awareness and experience preparing accurate cost estimates within the construction industry, we would like to hear from you.

We work with established contractors across residential, commercial, refurbishment, and new build sectors, providing ongoing opportunities on a variety of exciting projects.

You will be responsible for producing detailed and competitive estimates, analysing drawings and specifications, obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations, and supporting tender submissions from initial enquiry through to final pricing.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in an Estimator or similar commercial role within construction
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and tenders
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Good communication and negotiation abilities
• Relevant construction or commercial qualification (preferred)
