Handyman – Maintenance & Site-Based Opportunities Across East Anglia

At Marshall Recruitment, we are continually seeking experienced, reliable Handymen for both maintenance and site-based roles across Cambridge, Peterborough, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, and Ipswich.

If you have solid multi-trade experience and a minimum of 3 years’ on-site work, we would like to hear from you.

We work with a wide range of established clients and consistently supply skilled operatives across a variety of environments, including planned and reactive maintenance contracts, refurbishments, new build developments, and works within the commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors.

Due to ongoing demand, we are always looking to connect with hardworking, versatile individuals who take pride in their work and can represent Marshall Recruitment to a high standard on site.

You must be confident working independently or as part of a team, carrying out a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard across varied environments.

We offer consistent, ongoing work with reputable contractors across the region, with weekly CIS payments.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ on-site handyman / multi-trade experience
• Strong general maintenance and repair skills
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating, and/or patch repair ability
• Valid CSCS card (preferred but not always essential depending on role)
• Own tools appropriate to general maintenance work
• Strong understanding of health & safety on site
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good communication and reliability
